You can commission your own custom jack-in-the-box! I make them completely by hand: from the wooden boxes that my husband crafts for me, which I then hand paint; to the head that I sculpt in polymer clay. Even the little costumes that I sew can be customized. The musical hand crank is an 18-note music box movement that are specially designed to work for a jack-in-the-box. I have several tunes to choose from. Please note there is a 4 to 6 week lead time. Rush orders will be considered on a case by case basis and for an additional fee.
Commissions start at $500, with a 50% non refundable deposit required at the time the art work begins. The balance plus the shipping charges should be paid before I ship.
I always have an open line of communication as I work on your jack and can provide pictures as I move through the process for your approval.

I started this business in 2006, and have created hundreds of jacks for all kinds of people over the years. I live in San Jose, California with my husband, Dave, and our daughter, Twyla.
